CROSSWIND is the journal of the congregation of St Michael’s Parish Church, Linlithgow.  The parish magazine is published four times yearly to coincide with the quarterly services of Holy Communion.

The publication is intended to be a conduit of communication between the Ministry Team and the congregation, Kirk Session and the congregation, and amongst the members themselves.  It depicts the lively and active Christian life that is at the spiritual heart of our community of faith.

The articles are not just “of the moment” but a number of them have an educational value to Christian readers of other denominations.

You are cordially invited to share the worship of St Michael’s by visiting our church and by holding us in your prayers.

Please note that this website is still under re-construction and is being constantly updated with the archives of previous issues of CROSSWIND.  It is deliberately a text-only format for, at its conclusion, will have over 1500 pages and this would be made uneconomical for our congregation to sustain if these pages also contained images. It further has the advantage of a speedy download per page for those that don't have broadband and for those that have sight-impairment, can be more easily handled by the audio readers, if used.
